OCALA, FL — May 15, 2026 — Golden Hills Golf & Country Club has launched its Founding Member presale initiative, offering early access pricing during its current property-wide renovation.

The project updates the historic property by balancing its original design with modern infrastructure improvements.

“Golden Hills Golf & Country Club is entering its most exciting chapter in recent history," said owners Jason Lyons and Jon McGraw. "Our restoration is bringing the historic course’s remarkable topography back to its true glory — the rolling contours, natural elevation changes, and sweeping vistas that make Golden Hills unlike any other course in the region. This transformation will position us among the top golf clubs in the area, and the Founding Members who join us today will have been part of this revival from the very beginning. We’re grateful for the opportunity to re-build this course to its former glory, and when it is finished, it's going to be absolute perfection, so we've got that going for us, which is nice.”

Plan of Improvements:

The multi-phase restoration focuses on updating key elements of the historic property. On the course, work includes reconditioned fairways, renovated bunkers, updated greens, and refreshed infrastructure. Upgrades are also underway to the practice facilities, including the driving range and putting green.

Inside the clubhouse, Mustangs & Mulligans member dining is scheduled to debut this December. The locker rooms, private event spaces, and pro shop are receiving modern updates. The Garden on the Green, an outdoor social space overlooking the 18th hole, is projected to open in late 2026.

"We are systematically updating the greens, bunkers, fairways, and expanding our practice areas to provide consistent conditions. This renovation ensures our facilities meet the expectations of our incoming Founding Members."

The Founding Member Advantage

‍ ‍Prospective members who join during this initial phase secure three primary benefits:

1. Deferred Monthly Dues: No monthly dues are owed until December 1, 2026.

2. Immediate Access: Upon paying the Initiation fee, members can play the course for $25 per round during the course remodel, with zero monthly dues until December 1, 2026.

3. Locked-In Initiation Fee: Initiation Fees will increase as the club transitions to fully private status and Founding Members will be able to lock in the Initiation Fee at the inception of the renovation.

• Individual Golf Membership: Single-player golf access with full privileges.
